Bioinformatics Scientist à United States

The key activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Understand plans, drawings, technical specifications, and in-depth database parameters.

Align databases with the AMF's strategic objectives and ensure that their designs meet organizational, and member countries’ needs.

Apply advanced statistical analysis methods to interpret complex data sets and translate raw data into actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and reporting.

Interpret raw data and transform it into actionable insights, feedback, and applications that support decision-making and inform the organization's publications and activities.

Use big data, machine learning and other technics to improve data availability and analysis.

Manipulate non-relational databases to extract key economic and financial developments.

Provide accurate and relevant data analyses to assist in the development of reports, studies, bulletins, and other publications.

Ensure data integrity and relevance in all published materials.

Automatize data transformation and manipulation to expedite processes.

Recommend improvements to data processes and systems to enhance functionality and support organizational objectives based on the best practices and latest technologies and technics in statistical analysis and database management.

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide feedback, and deliver data-driven insights.

Contribute to internal and external training effectively to both technical and non-technical audience.

Qualifications and Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in database management experience, particularly in statistical or financial sectors

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, investment management or a related field

Master’s degree in statistics, data science, or a related field in database management or statistics

Excellent communication and writing skills in Arabic and English. French, as a third language, is a solid advantage
