Job Purpose
The job holder ensures customer satisfaction by performing quality servicing and repairs on all body-related components of commercial vehicles (trucks and buses), following manufacturer specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify customer requests, analyze them with Supervisor/Foreman, and refine the diagnostic process to identify problems.
• Perform the requested work according to manufacturer methods (recommendations and operating procedures) to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Communicate with the foreman during work to inform about check results, progress, and seek assistance as needed.
• Observe safety rules for equipment, instruments, and products to prevent work accidents.
• Adhere to work time set by the Foreman to meet productivity standards.
• Initiate minor work not requested by the customer to improve service quality.
• Diagnose electrical problems and determine corrective actions, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, piping systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Adjust functional parts of electrical devices or control instruments using appropriate tools.

Job Requirements
Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher qualification.
• Preferably a 3-year Diploma or 2-year I.T.I in Automobile.

Experience

• At least 7 years in an auto service center, with team management experience of technicians.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, programming, and software updates for vehicles. Capable of engine overhaul, A/T, HVAC, and mechanical repairs. Conduct road tests.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Skilled in repairing mechanical and electrical components of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to troubleshoot operating errors and determine solutions.
• Competent in selecting appropriate tools and equipment for tasks.
• Knowledge of health and safety policies, procedures, and equipment to promote a safe working environment.
