A construction company in Dubai seeks a Mechanical Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical works on construction projects. This role supports successful project execution across HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Project Execution & Site Supervision
- Oversee installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works.
- Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.
- Design Review & Technical Support
- Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Provide technical clarifications and resolve site-related mechanical issues.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
- Planning & Coordination
- Prepare work schedules and coordinate activities to meet project milestones.
- Liaise with procurement teams for material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
- Quality, Safety & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, safety standards, and local authority regulations.
- Prepare method statements, inspection requests, and progress reports.
- Maintain accurate site documentation and as-built records.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or MEP contracting.
