ABOUT CLIENT: An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.

• Carries out day to day preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities on electrical systems, plant and equipment in assigned field, covering gas turbine generators & controls, LV/HV motors & control circuits, transformers, MVSG, HVSG, cables, HV overhead lines, electrical submersible pumps (ESP) and electrical protection systems.
• Receives work orders and repair work requests, determines priorities in conjunction with supervisor, identifies and orders required materials, spares and equipment, liaises with counterparts in maintenance and operations to release desired equipment and plant and executes work on site and/or in workshop.
• Ensures availability of adequate level of consumable materials and spares in local store and arranges for delivery of materials from Company’s general stores.
• May assist and participate in complex maintenance and repair activities carried out by specialists, as required.
• Participates in shutdown and major overhaul activities by carrying out shutdown preparation, data collection and condition monitoring duties as assigned by Senior Support Engineers.

An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.

• Completion of Secondary education (12 years) followed by 3 years full time training leading to a Diploma in electrical Trade.

1-2 years of experience in oil and gas industry
