We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. You will assist in preparing financial reports, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and understanding of financial processes will contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with high accuracy.
• Reconcile company bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording journal entries and balancing accounts.
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in payroll processing and related tasks, ensuring accurate employee pay and deductions.
• Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure that they are properly classified and recorded.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate and consistent.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., 365 Business Dynamics) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
