Job description

Overview

CNC turner role involving turning and turn-mill operations with FANUC controls. Requires ability to understand and interpret complicated design plans and to perform FANUC programming as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate turning and turn-mill centers with FANUC controls.
• Set up a wide range of CNC lathes for manufacturing.
• Select tooling and processes to optimize manufacturing reliability and efficiency.
• Strong tooling knowledge and familiarity with feeds and speeds for various material grades.
• Refine improvements and edit existing programs to minimize cycle times.
• Produce parts with tight tolerances down to 0.01 mm.
• Assist with general workshop responsibilities as needed.
• Operate other cell tools where required; familiar with traditional turret and milling machines.

Qualifications

• Skilled with micrometers, bore gauges, and thread gauges.
• Solid understanding of string inspection.
• Knowledge of gauge maker devices and software applications desirable.
• First-off 100% assessment; expected to complete in-process inspection records.
• Possibility of CMM training.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: AED 5,500 per month plus accommodation, transport, and other benefits in accordance with UAE law.
