The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Subcontract Administrator – Civil + TCF with a proven track record in managing subcontractor relationships and overseeing procurement activities for civil works and temporary construction facilities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring cost-effective, timely, and quality execution of subcontract packages, contributing directly to the success of high-profile oil & gas projects. This role demands strong coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as the ability to navigate complex contractual frameworks and site logistics. Candidates with deep knowledge of FIDIC contracts, vendor management, and site-based operations will thrive in this dynamic and impactful position.

The key objectives for this role are :
- Contract Development & Finalization: Responsible for preparing, negotiating, and executing subcontract agreements for civil works and TCF, including managing financial instruments such as performance bonds, letters of credit, and warranties.
- Project Support & Contractual Guidance: Provide ongoing support and contractual advice throughout the subcontract lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and standards.
- Client Contract Alignment: Understand client head contract obligations and ensure subcontract strategies and terms reflect these requirements, collaborating with commercial and technical teams.
- Reporting & Risk Escalation: Deliver regular reports on subcontract progress, performance, and risks; escalate issues promptly for resolution.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, or Business Administration
- Legal qualification is preferred but not mandatory
- Working knowledge of UAE law, especially in construction and subcontracting practices, is advantageous
Knowledge, skills and experience :
- Contractual Expertise: Proven experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating NDAs, subcontract agreements, and purchase orders within a service or EPC environment
- Industry Insight: Practical exposure to oil & gas, engineering, and construction projects, ideally with Middle East experience; prior engagement with UAE NOCs is highly desirable
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to identify and mitigate liability gaps; strong understanding of contracting principles, risk, and commercial strategy
- Systems & Procedures: Familiarity with finance and HR systems, contract management platforms, and ERP tools
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Understanding of client contract structures and policies; skilled in cross-functional collaboration
- Leadership & Team Management: Experience in leading and mentoring teams; ability to manage multiple subcontract packages and deadlines
