The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless execution of construction activities by maintaining strict adherence to design drawings technical specifications and quality control protocols. This position demands a hands‑on professional with a proven track record in commercial fit‑out civil works and joinery finishes capable of managing on‑site operations with precision and accountability. The Site Engineer will serve as a critical link between project management contractors and subcontractors ensuring timely delivery compliance with safety standards and overall project excellence. With a strong command of construction methodologies and a commitment to quality this role is essential to the successful delivery of complex commercial developments in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities ensuring alignment with approved drawings specifications and project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality safety compliance and adherence to construction standards.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trade teams including joinery plumbing electrical and finishing works.
• Maintain accurate as‑built records progress reports and daily site logs.

Requirements

• 45 years of progressive experience in construction with a minimum of 3 years specifically in commercial construction projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience in managing fit‑out civil and joinery finishes on large‑scale commercial developments.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings specifications and technical documentation.
• Excellent knowledge of quality control health & safety standards and local UAE building regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office AutoCAD and construction management software (e.g. Procore Primavera or similar).
• Exceptional communication leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a consistent on‑site presence.
• Valid UAE work permit and residency visa (if applicable).
