Job Description

The role holder is responsible for supporting the new equipment operations, including estimations, preparing contracts, and negotiating contract scope changes. The role holder maintains market intelligence to ensure Otis is recognized as the preferred partner on bids. Duties are carried out in accordance with business policies and procedures.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Provides management with performance insights for decision-making.
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures to ensure controlled and consistent work execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Under guidance of the Manager of New Equipment, prepares, negotiates, and finalizes client agreements.
  • Prepares prequalification and technical documents for proposals.
  • Prepares estimates and quotations based on project scope.
  • Negotiates contracts with clients, addressing potential risks.
  • Implements sales strategies to increase market share across product lines.
  • Builds relationships with developers and contractors, positioning Otis favorably.
  • Coordinates with Aftermarket and Service departments to ensure contract terms are implemented.
  • Inspects delivered and installed equipment to verify scope completion.
  • Builds market awareness of products to position Otis as preferred provider.
  • Assists Finance with timely payment collections.
  • Maintains and reports on the contracts database and activity status.
  • Prepares sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Ensures compliance with quality and ISO policies in sales operations.

  • Sets performance goals in discussion with the manager and ensures achievement.
