Job summary

A safety management organization in Abu Dhabi seeks an HSE Coordinator responsible for implementing safety controls, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma, have NEBOSH certification, and possess 5-8 years of relevant experience. The role involves overseeing HSE performance, conducting audits, and delivering safety training. This position provides a vital contribution to maintaining workplace safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, preferably in safety.
  • NEBOSH IGC or level 3 equivalent certificate in health & safety.
  • Internal auditor ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001 certificate, preferably IRCA registered course.
  • 5 - 8 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect pertinent locations at regular intervals and advise team members on HSE compliance.
  • Monitor workforce HSE performance and provide guidance.
  • Carry out HSE inspections and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Implement and maintain HSE standards and conduct audits.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated.
  • Deliver planned toolbox talks and maintain records.
  • Review compliance with legal HSE obligations.
  • Coordinate with purchase team for safety equipment procurement.
  • Hold regular internal meetings to review HSE performance.
  • Conduct emergency drills and new team member orientation.
  • Identify and conduct safety training needs.
  • Develop and revise risk assessments.

Education
