Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent areas of knowledge, understanding, and skills to students.
2. Inculcate respect for truth, justice, equality, human rights, benevolence, and compassion through example and teaching.
3. Engage and motivate students to achieve beyond their expectations.
4. Utilize excellent subject knowledge, pedagogic, and interpersonal skills to enthuse students and foster enjoyment of learning.
5. Make full use of ICT and new technologies to enhance teaching and learning for students of all ages and levels.
6. Plan lessons considering students’ individual learning needs, styles, and capabilities.
7. Encourage students to become effective, confident, and independent lifelong learners.
8. Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and contribute to school improvement.
9. Plan and deliver programs of learning activities to enrich the curriculum.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to uphold fair disciplinary practices and protect students from all forms of abuse.

Teaching Responsibilities:

1. Plan and prepare schemes of work and complete planning documentation.
2. Teach effectively, considering individual educational needs.
3. Assign and assess work both in school and remotely as appropriate.
4. Promote students’ intellectual, moral, spiritual, cultural, physical, and personal development and provide guidance.
5. Record and report on students’ personal and social needs.
6. Participate in school development and promote best practices.
