A leading technology firm in the UAE is seeking a Power BI Developer for their operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI development and business intelligence with proficiency in DAX, SQL, and ETL processes. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing interactive reports, integrating various data sources, and ensuring data security. This is a full-time position with no remote work options, requiring a joining timeframe of 15 to 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.

We are currently looking for Power BI Developer (Offshore) for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 years of experience in Power BI development and business intelligence.
• Expert in DAX Power Query (M language) and SQL for data transformation.
• Strong experience in data modeling ETL and report performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate SharePoint and Azure Data Services.
• Ability to integrate SAP Salesforce Databricks and cloud-based data sources.
• Understanding of AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling in Power BI (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development & Optimization

• Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. Optimize DAX calculations and queries for performance.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and role-based access.

Data Modeling & ETL

• Build and maintain data models to support business reporting.
• Develop ETL pipelines using Power Query SQL and Power Automate.
• Integrate multiple data sources (SharePoint Databricks SAP Salesforce API etc.).

Power Platform & Automation

• Leverage Power Automate to schedule report refreshes and send notifications. Integrate Power BI with Power Apps and SharePoint for advanced reporting solutions.
• Automate workflows for data extraction and transformation.

Business Intelligence & Insights

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards.
• Conduct data analysis and provide insights to improve business decision-making.

Performance Tuning & Best Practices

• Optimize Power BI reports for speed and efficiency.
• Ensure best practices in data governance security and compliance.
• Monitor report usage and suggest improvements.
