Job summary

A leading construction firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The role involves preparing quantity takeoffs for MEP systems and managing project costs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a diploma in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years of experience in sizeable projects. Strong skills in cost estimation, project cost control, and excellent communication ability in English are required. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• 0405 years in the oil & gas or construction industry.
• HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum 03 years as Quantity Surveyor on sizeable projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for MEP systems.
• Develop and update interim valuations for work completed.
• Analyze comments on drawings to identify deviations.
• Prepare draft notices of variation claims.
• Prepare monthly cashflow forecasts and reports.
• Participate in negotiations with suppliers.
