Job summary

A leading service provider is seeking a Junior Occupational Hygienist in Abu Dhabi. The role involves conducting site visits for health assessments, ensuring compliance with occupational standards. Candidates should hold a Master's in Industrial Hygiene or comparable degree, and have familiarity with monitoring equipment and exposure assessments. This position is ideal for proactive learners who are willing to travel regularly for site projects and have strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least 12 BOHS or OHTA modules is mandatory if not holding a Masters.
• BOHS / OHTA modules preferred for all who do not hold other key qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits for exposure monitoring and assessments.
• Support senior hygienists in risk assessments.
• Perform monitoring for noise, chemicals, and dust.
• Assist in interpreting results and preparing reports.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health standards.

Skills

Familiarity with IH monitoring equipment

Knowledge of exposure monitoring

Strong analytical skills

Previous consultancy experience

Education

Masters in Industrial Hygiene

Bachelors in Engineering (Chemical preferred)

Diploma in Industrial Safety
