Position Overview
We are seeking an HR Performance Specialist who is passionate about data-driven practices and employee development. In this role, you will serve as a key architect and operator of our performance management system, leveraging the HRIS (Lark HRIS) platform to design, implement, and optimize KPI and OKR processes. You will ensure performance programs run efficiently and fairly, while providing data-driven insights to support business decision-making. Strong bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English are essential to succeed in our diverse and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Management System Design & Optimization
- Lead the design, configuration, and end-to-end management of annual and quarterly performance review cycles (including goal-setting, mid-year review, and year-end evaluation) on the HRIS (Lark HRIS) platform.
- Work with business leaders to develop, cascade, and calibrate departmental and individual KPIs and OKRs aligned with company strategy.
- Continuously refine performance processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and employee experience.
2. System Administration & Data Analytics
- Serve as the internal expert for the HRIS performance module, responsible for system maintenance, permission management, feature testing, and updates.
- Provide training and support to employees and managers on system usage, processes, and best practices.
- Collect, clean, and analyze performance data; generate visual reports (e.g., goal achievement rates, calibration distribution, talent nine-box grid) to support talent review, compensation cycles, and leadership development.
3. Communication, Training & Support
- Draft performance policies, user guides, and company-wide communication materials in fluent Chinese and English.
- Organize and deliver performance management training sessions and workshops for global / cross-regional teams.
- Provide consultation and coaching to managers and employees on goal-setting, performance feedback, and development conversations.
4. Projects & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in or lead performance-related HR initiatives, such as engagement surveys, succession planning, and incentive program design.
- Collaborate closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams to ensure alignment across all talent management touchpoints.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience specializing in performance management.
- Hands‑on experience configuring and managing performance modules (especially OKR / KPI workflows) in Lark HRIS, with familiarity in backend logic and user journey design.
- Solid experience in building or deeply operating KPI and OKR systems with a strong understanding of core principles and practical application.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English (spoken and written) or English only with strong business communication and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel / Google Sheets. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management abilities, with strong service orientation and cross-functional influencing skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in tech, internet, or high-growth companies.
- HR certifications such as SHRM‑CP, PHR, etc.
- Experience designing or implementing 360‑degree reviews or Continuous Performance Management (CFR).
