Job summary

A luxury hotel chain in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance staff member. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in vocational hospitality and at least 1 year of experience in the housekeeping sector. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and public areas, maintaining high hygiene standards, and providing excellent guest service. Candidates must be based in the UAE and willing to relocate if necessary, with preference for those available to join immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
  • Ensure lobbies, hallways, and public areas are clean and well‑maintained.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, such as extra towels or amenities.
  • Ensure fresh linens, towels, and amenities are available at all times.
  • Follow health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.

Job Description
Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance:
  • Clean and service guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
  • Inspect and report any maintenance issues or damages.
Public Areas & Back‑of‑House:
  • Ensure lobbies, hallways, and public areas are clean and well‑maintained.
  • Clean elevators, corridors, and guest lounges regularly.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
Guest Service & Interaction:
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, such as extra towels or amenities.
  • Handle guest belongings with care and ensure lost items are reported.
  • Respect guest privacy and adhere to the hotel’s confidentiality policies.
Laundry & Supply Management:
  • Ensure fresh linens, towels, and amenities are available at all times.
  • Report shortages of supplies to the supervisor for timely replenishment.
Safety & Hygiene Compliance:
  • Follow health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly.
  • Follow hotel policies regarding lost and found items.
