Overview
We are seeking an HSE Officer with manufacturing experience to provide leadership, training, and operational support across all levels of the organization. This role supports top management in implementing HSE policies and ensures the effective application, review, and auditing of our HSE Management System in line with corporate guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Technical and Operations: Ensure Health, Safety & Environment Standards are maintained.
- Follow procedures and work instructions outlined in the company QHSE management system.
- Fully responsible for implementing safe systems of work and safe behavioural practices at all levels of the organization.
- Provides HSE guidance to the organization and supports the operation process to maintain and continually improve the safety culture and performance.
- Develop, implement, and improve HSE management systems, processes, and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Standards.
- Communicates information on the HSE Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels i.e., TBT, Safety Inductions, Training, Campaigns, discussions, emails, etc., in consultation with all relevant departments.
- Prepare HSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the Site / Operations team.
- Undertake HSE Inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company. Follows up on the preventive and/or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.
- Develop, facilitate, and review HSE Risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the Site/ Operations team.
- Develop, implement, and encourage the behaviour-based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.
- Meeting all specific HSE Responsibilities which the approved HSE SOPs.
- Provides technical support to Senior Management on any safety-related subjects.
- Assist with the preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.

- Ensure that safety policies and procedures are adopted and adhered to by the workforce and that the organization complies with the appropriate health and safety legislation that is required.
- Employ knowledge and abilities to organize, direct, oversee, and evaluate preventative and safety measures.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any other related field
- Health and Safety Credentials (NEBOSH IGC, IOSH MS), ISO Certifications (EMS, OHSMS, IMS Auditor Course)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as an HSE Officer
