Black & Grey HR is partnering with a premier hospital in Dubai to recruit an experienced and strategic Head of Business Development who will architect growth strategy, identify new opportunities, forge high-value partnerships and enhance market presence. With a keen understanding of luxury healthcare and a passion for innovation you will craft initiatives that amplify our brand, attract elite clientele and ensure sustainable expansion.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth & Market Leadership: Develop and execute a high-impact business development strategy to drive revenue growth, market penetration and brand dominance. Identify and capitalize on emerging trends in premium healthcare, ophthalmology and medical tourism. Lead expansion initiatives including new centers, partnerships and service line extensions.
- Luxury Brand Positioning & Client Acquisition: Elevate the hospital's positioning as a premium and exclusive eye care destination. Design and implement elite patient acquisition strategies including collaborations with luxury concierge services, corporates and high-net-worth networks. Oversee premium membership programs, bespoke patient experiences and VIP services.
- Partnerships & Corporate Alliances: Forge strategic alliances with top-tier corporates, insurance providers, medical tourism facilitators and international healthcare networks. Develop B2B and B2C engagement models to enhance referral networks and institutional partnerships.
- Revenue Optimization & Business Innovation: Analyze market dynamics to introduce innovative service offerings, pricing models and revenue streams. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize patient acquisition costs and maximize ROI on marketing initiatives.
- Thought Leadership & Market Influence: Represent the hospital at premium healthcare forums, industry events and luxury lifestyle platforms. Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, expert panels and high-profile collaborations.
Qualifications
- 5 years in business development leadership experience in the Ophthalmology sector, with a focus on hospital operations and strategic expansion.
- A proven ability to manage and scale premium family-owned, midsize or boutique eye hospitals within the UAE or GCC.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the healthcare sector.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
