Key responsibilities:

• Leading teams of consultants in complex analysis and problem-solving including problem structuring, analytical techniques, synthesis, and client implications
• Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients, support business development and sales, and create knowledge playbooks on a specific industry or function
• Supporting partners project execution through excellent case management: work planning, managing workflow, upward management, and coaching/developing team members
• Managing client relationships and networks, presenting to board audiences, and working day to day with clients
• Effective and impactful communication of issues and solutions, in formal and informal settings, through written and verbal communication

Your Attributes And Experience Clients hire Oliver Wyman for specialized expertise, the ideal candidate will have most of the following:

• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization).
• In-depth knowledge of topics specifically within the GPI industry - with a particular focus on Defense & Security.
• Track record of leading and managing teams and clients, and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
• Ability to apply depth of content knowledge for thought leadership in project execution
• Outstanding communication skills; comfort in presenting to senior executives, both internally and among clients
• A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
• Have an aptitude for analytical work, like sniffing out clues in massive data sets or hunting down the key issues in a hugely complex challenge.
• Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you've already got to good use
• An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel.
