As Front Office Receptionist, We Rely On You To:- Be well versed with the daily arrival and the type of arrival guests, e.g., return guest, Shangri-La Circle, VIP.
- Register all guests with required details and ensure all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival.
- Always take the opportunity to exceed guest expectations.
- Coordinate with the Bell desk and Concierge to assist guests with luggage upon check-in and checkout.
- Check-in/check-out guests as per Shangri-La standards and procedures.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the reception.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer and forward incoming phone calls as required.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:- Has proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role in a luxury hotel or a 5* hotel environment.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fully understands room operations.
- Communicates with fluency in English (and local language).
- Must be detail-focused and guest-oriented.
- Enjoys problem-solving with a can-do attitude.
- Has strong interpersonal skills, solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Takes pride in being a hotelier and enjoys interacting with people.
