Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Aleph Hospitality Limited. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

Role Description:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial regulations. This is a critical role that supports executive decision-making through strategic financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage the hotel's budget, forecast, and financial plans
  2. Monitor financial performance and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
  4. Manage cash flow, cost control, and profitability
  5. Supervise finance functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and audits
  6. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
  7. Advise management on financial implications of operational decisions
  8. Implement financial controls and systems to safeguard hotel assets
  9. Collaborate with department heads to optimize revenue and minimize expenses
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in hospitality is a must.
  • Proven expertise in hotel accounting systems
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, audit coordination, and risk management
  • Extensive negotiation and stakeholder management experience
  • Strong leadership skills and attention to detail
