Job summary

A financial services firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Deputy Chief Compliance Officer to support compliance efforts and manage regulatory requirements. This role demands substantial experience in compliance within financial services, strong communication skills, and fluency in both English and Arabic. The ideal candidate will assist in developing compliance programs, liaising with regulatory authorities, and enforcing AML policies.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in compliance within financial services.
• Proven track record of working in financial services.
• Prior registration with SCA as Compliance Officer will be considered as advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance program.
• Support the Chief Compliance Officer in liaising with regulatory authorities.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.

Skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements in AML and KYC

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Fluent in English

Fluent in Arabic

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Advanced degrees or certifications preferred
