A leading global fabric supplier in Sharjah is seeking an Accountant fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese. You will manage financial reports, account reconciliations, and oversee payroll, while supporting various branches in Asia. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong Excel skills, and holds a higher diploma in accounting. Experience with Business Central is preferred, and immediate availability is advantageous.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be an accountant based in the UAE, fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese, to support our offices in Asia. The role involves preparing financial reports, monthly statements, and account reconciliations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Full set of accounts: daily data entry, AR/AP, bank reconciliation, inter-company transactions, cash flow tracking, monthly reporting

·Prepare monthly reports, costing analysis, and financial statements

·Oversee wages for both permanent and part-time staff, payroll calculations, petty cash, MPF contributions, and journal entries

·Assist with internal/external audits and tax filing

·Work closely with the General Manager to supervise accounting operations for various Asia branches

·Manage company secretarial and administrative tasks, including annual returns, insurance, and vehicle-related admin

·Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless processes and proactive problem-solving

·Support ERP system functions related to accounting (Business Central)

·Tackle ad-hoc assignments with confidence and accountability

REQUIREMENTS

·Higher Diploma or above in Accounting, with LCCI Higher Certificate or equivalent

·Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin/Cantonese and English

·Strong Excel skills and confident navigating new systems

·Experience with Business Central or Navision is highly preferred

·Hands-on, proactive mindset with an eye for detail and a love for multi-tasking

·1–2 years of relevant accounting experience required

·Knowledge of China or Japan accounting practices is an advantage

·Immediate availability is a strong advantage
