Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) - Falcons Collective

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CSO will be responsible for shaping the long-term growth strategy. The CSO will identify new market opportunities, optimize revenue streams, strengthen competitive positioning, and drive initiatives that ensure scalability and profitability in a rapidly evolving digital commerce landscape.

Strategic Planning & Growth

  1. Define and implement short- and long-term strategies to drive platform growth, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  2. Analyze market trends in e-commerce, digital retail, logistics, and payments to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
  3. Evaluate and lead potential partnerships, acquisitions, and new market entries.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  1. Use analytics, customer insights, and performance metrics to guide business strategy.
  2. Develop KPIs to measure platform efficiency, conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
  3. Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to align strategies with customer behaviors and industry trends.
  4. Partner with the CTO and CPO to enhance platform features, improve customer experience, and stay ahead of emerging technologies (AI, personalization, AR/VR shopping, etc.).
  5. Drive initiatives in omni-channel retail, mobile commerce, and cross-border expansion.

Revenue & Monetization Strategy

  1. Work with the CRO / CMO to develop strategies for pricing, promotions, loyalty programs, and merchant acquisition.
  2. Explore new revenue streams, including marketplace services, advertising, and fintech solutions.

Leadership & Alignment

  1. Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  2. Ensure cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Technology.
  3. Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and customer-first thinking.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, management consulting, or executive leadership, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or digital marketplaces.
  2. Strong understanding of e-commerce trends (logistics, payments, customer experience, digital marketing).
  3. Proven success in scaling online platforms or leading digital transformation.
  4. Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and strategic planning skills.
  5. Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of influencing stakeholders.
  6. MBA or advanced degree in Business, Strategy, or related field preferred.
