A leading telecommunications firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced business development manager to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years in the telecom industry, strong C-level relationships, and a proven track record in developing innovative strategies. This role requires strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making to enhance business visibility and revenue opportunities.
What You Will Do
Drive new business acquisition and regional revenue growth through structured sales strategies and disciplined activity
Manage regional P&L accountability
Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with telecommunications operators and platform partners
Develop persona-based go-to-market approaches, aligned to customer priorities and vertical-specific pain points
Lead weekly pipeline reviews and reporting on commercial KPIs, sales activity, opportunity conversion, and forecast accuracy
Identify and execute new commercial initiatives - including ODM platform adoption, ecosystem expansion, and monetization of untapped opportunities
Serve as the strategic voice of the customer internally, collaborating across Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance
Represent DT One at industry events and key commercial meetings, driving brand and business visibility
Key Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent commercial training preferred
10+ years of experience in telecommunications industry, with minimum 5 years in commercial / business development roles
Established network of C-level relationships within telecommunications operators
Demonstrated success in managing large enterprise accounts and closing complex, high-value deals
Proven track record of developing and executing innovative business strategies
Deep understanding of mobile recharge, mobile payments, and digital distribution ecosystems
Strong activity discipline and commercial rigour – you lead with data and deliver through action
