Classroom & Learning Support
- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons by supporting individual or small groups of students.
- Organize and distribute learning materials, set up audio‑visual equipment, and prepare project resources.
- Supervise students during teacher‑led activities and provide one‑on‑one instructional support when needed.
- Maintain classroom supplies and assist children in using materials, cleaning up, and organizing their workspaces.
- Support reading, literacy, numeracy, and phonics activities under teacher guidance.
- Cover classes during short teacher absences (emergency only), following the given lesson plans.
Administrative Support
- Handle general office tasks including photocopying, filing, preparing worksheets, and managing resources.
- Assist with SPEA inspection preparations, ensuring all compliance documentation is complete.
- Provide assistance to school administration in coordination and event logistics as required.
Student Supervision & Safety
- Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, pick‑up, and drop‑off, ensuring safety and positive behavior.
- Monitor dispersal as per the duty assigned.
- Escort children to the washroom and guide with personal hygiene for young children when necessary.
- Ensure safe handover of students to authorised adults at home drop‑off points.
Cultural & Co‑Curricular Activities
- Take an active role in the planning and execution of the UAE National Day and other Emirati cultural celebrations.
- Support after‑school activities and events, enhancing the holistic development of students.
- Promote Emirati heritage, language, and values through school activities and displays.
Health and Safety
- Follow and enforce all school health and safety procedures.
- Maintain vigilance in classrooms and common areas to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Support in implementing policies related to student conduct, behaviour, and safety.
Skills
Qualifications/knowledge:
Good level of general education especially in Math and English.
Skills:
Strong communication skills with excellent standard of written and spoken English. ICT skills desirable. Able to handle a range of tasks, work under pressure and relate well to children and colleagues.
