Job description

The Assistant Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, development and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for Fairmont Bab Al Bahr. This position will assist in enhancing the hotel’s brand image, driving revenue through strategic campaigns and fostering strong relationships with guests, media and partners. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of digital marketing trends and a passion for luxury hospitality.

  • Assist the Director of Marketing & Communications in developing and implementing integrated marketing plans aligned with hotel revenue goals and brand guidelines.
  • Support the execution of all marketing campaigns including digital, social media, print, email and on-property promotions for rooms, F&B outlets, spa and events.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, F&B, Rooms, Events) to ensure marketing initiatives are cohesive and effectively communicated.
  • Contribute to the annual marketing budget planning and track expenses.
  • Oversee and contribute to the creation of engaging and high-quality marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, presentations, menus and digital assets (photos, videos).
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to Fairmont brand standards and hotel guidelines.
  • Support the hotel’s website and other online listings (OTAs, directories) to ensure up-to-date and compelling content.
  • Manage and curate the hotel’s image and video library.
  • Track and analyze digital marketing performance using relevant analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns including list segmentation, content creation and performance tracking.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape and new opportunities for the hotel.
  • Analyze campaign performance, prepare detailed reports and present findings to the marketing team and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor ROI for various marketing activities and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably within the luxury hospitality, tourism or a related service industry.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management and content creation.
  • Experience working in the UAE market is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
