Job summary

An international humanitarian organization is seeking a WASH Officer to implement hygiene promotion activities in the Afar region of Ethiopia. The successful candidate will coordinate with local communities, ensure compliance with WASH guidelines, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the humanitarian response. Candidates should have a BSc in Environmental Health or a related field, with 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in the Afarigna language is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in WASH projects focused on hygiene promotion.
• Experience in community mobilization and coordination with health extension workers.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural setting.
