Job description

We’re looking for a designer/animator with serious Adobe After Effects chops to join our team full-time. You’ll craft high-quality 2D motion graphics, titles, explainers, and mixed-media pieces, occasionally collaborating on 3D shots. You’ll take clear briefs and run with them independently, while staying a collaborative, solutions-minded teammate. Expect and flow of production timelines, including the occasional late night or weekend when deadlines demand it. Industry job specs consistently call out strong AE skills, solid design fundamentals, storyboarding, and an excellent reel, which aligns with what we need here.

What you’ll do

• Design and animate 2D motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, logo stings, and social cut-downs in After Effects.
• Translate briefs into storyboards, style frames, and motion tests; iterate fast on feedback.
• Prep clean, organized AE projects; manage renders, versions, and deliveries for multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, custom formats).
• Collaborate with producers, editors, and creatives to build graphics packages/templates that speed up recurring series.

(Occasional) Assist on 3D tasks, simple scene setup, camera moves, or renders to support mixed 2D/3D spots.

Requirements

Must-have skills & experience

• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects with a strong reel that showcases design + animation range.
• Confident in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro for asset prep and finishing.
• Solid grasp of animation principles, typography, layout, colour, and timing; you can storyboard your own work.
• Comfortable building expressions for efficiency (wiggle, time remap, rigging, simple UI controls).
• Highly organized project files, self-managed workflow, and reliable delivery to spec, without hand‑hanging.

Nice to have (big plus)

• 3D familiarity (Cinema 4D or Blender): basic modelling, lighting, cameras, imports/exports, and AE comp workflows.
• Basic sound awareness (timing to VO/music, simple SFX placement) and finishing (Media Encoder, codecs).
• Experience designing template-driven packages for series content and social platforms.
