Overview

Urgent requirement for Vand logistics operations is required for our clients in Mombasa Hub (East Africa). Lead and develop a 20–30 member supply chain team and 3P workforce.

Key Experience

• Strong experience in Domestic + Export Supply Chain Management Must
• Strong experience in Deep Transportation & Logistics Expertise – Inbound, outbound, last-mile, freight negotiation, DIFOT accountability is Must

Demand Planning & Inventory Control

Strong experience in Demand Planning & Inventory Control – Forecast-to-supply planning, FIFO/FEFO, high inventory accuracy is Must

Supply Chain Controls & Compliance

Strong experience on Supply Chain Controls & Compliance – SOP-driven operations, audits, governance, regulatory discipline is MUST

Operational Leadership

Lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations from the consolidated Mombasa hub, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, robust logistics, regulatory compliance, and high service levels across domestic and export markets.

Candidates Must Have

• Managed both Domestic & Export Supply Chains
• Hands‑on responsibility for local distribution and international export operations
• Strong exposure to import/export documentation, customs, and cross-border logistics
• Deep expertise in transportation & logistics
• End‑to‑end logistics management (inbound, outbound, last‑mile, and exports)
• Carrier management, route optimization, freight negotiations, DIFOT ownership
• MNC‑Level Supply Chain Exposure
• Experience working within structured, multinational environments
• Strong understanding of supply chain controls, compliance processes, governance, and demand planning

Key Responsibilities (Summary)

• Lead warehouse, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment operations from Mombasa hub
• Manage domestic distribution across Kenya and export shipments across East Africa
• Oversee transportation planning, freight partners, customs agents, and logistics compliance
• Drive inventory accuracy, FIFO/FEFO, and optimal stockholding
• Support demand planning, production coordination (toll blending), and material availability
• Ensure ERP (Oracle preferred) accuracy for orders, pricing, invoicing, and inventory
• Maintain regulatory compliance (KEBS, KRA) and HSSE standards
