Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and service injection moulding tools used in production.
• Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, surface grinders.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD files for tooling components.
• Conduct measurements and inspections using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and correct problems.
• Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure tools meet production needs.
• Modify tooling for efficiency improvements and design enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and usage.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure all tools comply with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

• A relevant trade qualification in Toolmaking, Precision Engineering and / or related field.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in a toolmaker role.
• 3-5 Years Experience in a Toolmaker role.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments.
