Primary Responsibilities

  1. Manage a geographical territory, executing the full sales strategy including market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth through contract negotiation and customer retention.
  2. Respond promptly to inbound leads and requests. Be familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  3. Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. Educate them on how EquipmentShare can help save money, increase profits, and improve operations.
  4. Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure complete satisfaction with our service and support. Keep customers informed about new solutions that can benefit their business.
  5. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints. Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  6. Develop new sales strategies to increase market share and enhance customer experience.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Tenacious, innovative, with proven outside sales experience and a successful sales track record.
  • Knowledge of heavy construction equipment or industry experience (rental or construction) is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated salespeople.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt quickly in a fast-growing company and stay updated on EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
