Talent Sourcing Specialist (6-Month Contract) Luxury Property Group Johannesburg

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Talent Sourcing Specialist on a 6-month contract for a leading luxury property group based in Johannesburg. This role will suit a proactive and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in talent sourcing and recruitment ideally within the hospitality or luxury service industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development Proactively source candidates through multiple channels including the company career page job boards social media internal networks referrals and agencies. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future recruitment needs. Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and critical roles across the group s properties.
- Candidate Engagement & Screening Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidate suitability motivation and alignment with company values. Ensure timely and professional communication with all candidates throughout the process.
- Carry out reference qualification and compliance checks Maintain accurate and detailed recruitment records within the applicant tracking system.
- Market Intelligence & Employer Branding Monitor talent market trends and competitor activity to strengthen sourcing strategies. Collaborate with marketing to promote the employer value proposition and attract talent.
- Compliance & Process Excellence Ensure all sourcing activities are compliant with Employment Equity legislation and internal recruitment policies. Support hiring managers with shortlisting and interview coordination during high-volume recruitment periods. Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing tools templates and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources Business Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in talent sourcing or recruitment preferably in hospitality or luxury service industries.
- Proven track record in sourcing passive candidates and managing high-volume recruitment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn job boards).
- Basic design skills in Canva (advantageous).
- Strong command of MS 365 Office suite with a focus on formatting accuracy.
