Overview
Role Purpose: The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for coordinating retail supply chain activities while overseeing store and warehouse supply chain operations and compliance to ensure seamless trading operations. The role focuses on overseeing stock movements, cost control, stock compliance and supervising the Supply Chain team in supporting uninterrupted store operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Retail Supply Chain Operations
- Manage logistics, track inventory, coordinate stock movement between suppliers, distribution centre and retail stores
- Analyze Supply Chain Data: Utilize data analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement, and optimize supply chain processes.
- Generate reports on supply chain performance, including inventory levels, shipment tracking, and cost analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise in the supply chain process, such as delays or discrepancies in shipments.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with merchandise and logistics teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations.
- Ensure accurate system updates across all systems.
- Support store openings/closures, refits, and seasonal trading requirements
- Identify supply chain inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
People Leadership & Administration
- Lead, motivate, and support supply chain team
- Allocate workloads, manage priorities, and ensure service level delivery
- Conduct training, coaching, and performance management
- Prepare reports on stock flow
- Ensure policies, SOPs, and audit requirements are adhered to
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in a retail supply chain/ stock compliance or a related field is advantageous.
- At least 1–2 years’ supervisory or team leading experience
- Strong understanding of retail stock flow, replenishment, etc
- Solid computer literacy (Excel, supply chain retail systems)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and on public holidays when required operationally
