The main purpose of the job is to ensure that all goods despatched are attended to efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures, service principles and operational processes requirements.

Job Description
  • Co‑ordinating customer deliveries
  • Maintaining administrative functions
  • Inspire, motivate, guide, develop and manage, and lead employees to meet the store's objectives applying all company policies and procedures and best practice principles to maintain a harmonious labour environment
  • Checking forklifts are ready to operate by checking oil, water and mechanical ports
  • Monitoring and managing staff attendance
  • Ensuring customer driving into yard are attended to
  • Ensuring legal compliance with all legislation relating to the operation of the business and taking appropriate action in respect of all legal matters
  • Reporting any discrepancies to management immediately
  • Maintaining staff roster for weekends and public holidays
  • Maintaining and managing stock effectively and accurately
  • Physically checking stock and delivery vehicles leaving the yard
  • Uphold and promote the company values and culture
Job Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Technical qualification or Diploma
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of relevant systems
