Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Operate machines / equipment in accordance with safe work instructions. Adhere to safety and housekeeping as per company procedures and OHS Act requirements including its associated regulations.
  • Plan production and ensure OTD (on‑time delivery) and Quality are met
  • Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Drive Implementation of 6S, KAIZEN principles and LEAN approach.
  • Attend other operational meetings when required.
  • Green Area boards must be updated by COB of the 1st working day of the new month.
  • Liaise with internal & external customers and suppliers.
  • Submit month end reports for OPCO meetings.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  • Relevant National Diploma or one - three year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
