Job summary

A leading security services provider is looking to recruit Freelance Riot and Crowd control officers. These officers are expected to deploy to various sites across the country as per client requests and will frequently work away from home. TSU would like to recruit Freelance Riot and Crowd control officers. Riot officers are required to deploy to any site in various parts of the country as requested by our clients. Officers will respond and work away from home most of the time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid driver's license (advantageous)
• Own Transport (advantageous)
• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level).
• Current PSIRA registration (Minimum Grade C)
• Security training certification (Grades)
• Riot training certificate or Tactical training certificate
• Crowd control/crowd management/public order management
• Full business SAPS firearm competency (Handgun/Shotgun/Carbine): Use and handle Handgun (advantageous); Use and handle Shotgun compulsory; Use and handle Carbine (advantageous)
• Firearm statement of Results: Use and handle – Handgun; Use and handle – Shotgun; Use and handle - Carbine (If applicable)
• Valid regulation 21 certificate (If available)
• Pass physically fitness test regularly
• Bank account confirmation
• ID Document
• SARS Tax Number (If applicable)
• 2 years' experience (advantageous)
