Role Overview

We are looking for Strategic Benefits Consultants who combine analytical rigor with executive influence

This is not a traditional sales role

consulting-first, growth-second position where your ability to interpret workforce data, generate insights, and guide strategic conversations will directly unlock commercial opportunities.

You will work with HR leaders, Finance heads, and C-suite executives to surface workforce realities they may not fully appreciate, translating complex patterns into actionable recommendations.

The role is about trusted influence, not product pitching, and requires a mix of numeracy, commercial acumen, and executive presence

We are intentionally looking outside of the traditional financial services, employee benefits, or insurance sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Insight-Led Growth

Identify and cultivate growth opportunities through data-backed insight and strategic analysis (within existing accounts and externally)

Lead solutions conversations from a consultative, evidence-driven perspective, unlocking opportunities others may overlook

Build long-term, high-value client partnerships by demonstrating a deep understanding of employee experience, workforce challenges, and business priorities.

Lead Strategic Client Engagements

Own and manage relationships with a portfolio of major employer clients.

Establish yourself as the trusted adviser to HR, Finance, and executive stakeholders using analytical insight to reframe workforce challenges and guide executive decision-making.

Lead discussions that focus on business objectives, employee outcomes, and long-term impact - not products or services.

Orchestrate Integrated Delivery

Coordinate a cross-functional team of specialists (healthcare, credit, retirement, and more) to deliver cohesive, insight-driven strategies.

Act as the single point of accountability for overall client experience - ensuring unified messaging and seamless execution across all service lines.

Leverage Insight to Influence

Use anonymised data, diagnostics, and engagement metrics to challenge client assumptions and open new strategic conversations.

Introduce forward-thinking discussions around financial wellbeing, employee resilience, and workforce optimisation, helping clients understand where interventions will have the greatest impact.

Persuade and influence senior stakeholders to adopt strategic solutions based on your insights, turning analysis into actionable outcomes and opening doors to commercial opportunities.

Executive presence and influence

Able to persuade and engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite, HR, and Finance leaders, shaping decisions with credibility and impact.

Strong analytical and numerate skills

Comfortable interpreting complex data, generating actionable insights, and translating patterns into strategic recommendations.

Commercial acumen

Experienced in insight-led, solution-oriented engagements with a focus on growing strategic accounts.

Performance-driven

Strong appetite for variable earnings based on success.

Intellectually curious and adaptable

Confident navigating unfamiliar sectors or subject matter, with a continuous learning mindset.

Preferred Background and Qualifications
