Job summary

A leading staffing agency in South Africa is seeking a male stock controller to maintain accurate records, conduct stock counts, and manage inventory levels. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of GARE 12 and hold a diploma in inventory management or a related field. With at least 2.5 years of experience and proficiency in ERP systems, the candidate will ensure stock rotation and maintain an orderly storage area. Job description

We are looking for a MALE stock controller

Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
2. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
3. Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient supply and avoid overstocking or shortages.
4. Update inventory management systems and databases accurately and on time.
5. Verify and inspect all deliveries for quantity, quality, and accuracy.
6. Record received goods and ensure proper labeling and storage
7. Ensure stock is stored safely and systematically for easy retrieval.
8. Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure storage area.

REQUIREMENTS

1. 1. GARE 12(MINIMUM)
2. 2. Diploma or certificate in inventory management, supply chain, logistics or warehouse management
3. 3.2.5 years of experience in stock control
4. 4. experience with ERP system (eg.. SAP, SYSPRO, PASTEL, OR SIMILAR)
5. 5. Knowledge of FIFO stock rotation and stock taking procedures
6. 6. Proficiency in MS excel and other computer software
