Job description

Elcb Information Services is looking for a dedicated Human Resources professional to join our team.

The role focuses on developing and implementing HR strategies, managing client and candidate relationships, and delivering high-quality HR services across various industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, programs, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to the Department of Labour and Employment Equity.
  • Manage client and candidate registrations, maintaining accurate and compliant information.
  • Maintain candidate and client information on the ADAPT CRM database.
  • Deliver full HR services, ensuring compliance and maintaining constructive relationships with unions, management, and clients.
  • Oversight of Group HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) – standardise processes, implement HRIS, automate workflows, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide workplace coaching and career development support to clients and staff.
  • Upsell services such as skills assessment, professional CV creation, and other HR consulting services.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand and support employer branding initiatives.
  • Use HR data and analytics to inform strategy and improve service delivery.
  • Respond to client queries professionally and in a timely manner, ensuring service delivery excellence.
  • Support the recruitment lifecycle, from business development to post-hire follow-up, especially in the IT and procurement sectors.
  • Manage client accounts for permanent recruitment and deliver services that result in client retention and repeat business.
Qualifications
  • Experience in temporary employment services or B2 B sales in recruitment / HR solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service within the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems (e.g., ESS).
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying information in training environments.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in labour relations consulting or first-line HR service provision.
  • Knowledge of South African employment law and guidelines.
  • Background in corporate financial services or related industries is desirable.
  • Track record of recruiting in investment banking, private equity, or professional services is preferred.
