A governmental agency in Pretoria seeks a Quantity Surveyor to prepare construction estimates, manage contract disputes, and provide advisory services. The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ estimating experience and two years in quantity surveying, with skills in communication, analysis, and attention to detail. A strong understanding of the tendering process is essential. Applications from all eligible candidates are encouraged, and the role requires sound health and a clean police record.
The primary responsibility of the position is the preparation of Construction Works Preliminary Estimates, Bills of Quantities & Final Accounts, Dispute Resolution, Scope / Drawings Change Management, Stakeholder/ Client Advisory and General Administration of progress (physical and financial) of works with minimum supervision.
The position will achieve its purpose through the following key responsibilities:
