Stellar Recruitment is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for a permanent position at an established remnant underground hard‑rock gold mine in Western Australia.

Responsibilities

Establish and communicate the planning direction of the mine.
Ensure that the Life of Mine strategy and medium‑term planning integrate into the successful delivery of the business plan.
Manage geological, geotechnical, design and operational risks.

8 / 6 roster – fly‑in company time and flights from Perth fully funded.
Attractive salary package (flexible depending on experience).

Relocation assistance offered. Visa facilitation.
Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
Ability to obtain an open “C” Class Western Australian Driver's Licence.
Underground production and planning experience in a mechanised hard‑rock underground mine.
Experience in all aspects of mine design (lateral / vertical development and production).

Competence in the use of mine planning and design software – such as the Deswik package.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication skills with a wide range of operational and technical personnel.
