Job description

Minimum requirements:

• Admitted Attorney, with at least 5 - 10 years' post-admission experience gained
• Right of appearance in High Court appearance essential
• Experience in managing court cases from inception to completion in Civil litigation
• Derivatives as it relates to Business Law (Company Law; Commercial Law; Franchise Law; Labour Law; Civil litigation)
• Enough expertise and confidence in topics to advise, consult and represent a client on at least 3 of the above is essential
• Will be required to manage clients from inception to completion as and when matters are allocated to them:
  • Opening files
  • Consultations
  • Drafting
  • Billing (Deposits and invoices)
  • Representation
  • Constant feedback
• Will be required to travel from home to the office; clients and legal forums as they deem fit to do service delivery Working from home is available if it is sensible in terms of service delivery
• Should the Attorney be required to meet with Management, they will be instructed to attend at whichever location
• Own vehicle, valid drivers license
• Should reside within a 50km radius of Greenstone, Edenvale
• Afrikaans/English proficiency
