Job summary

A leading service provider in the industry is seeking an Investigator to join their team in Gauteng. The Investigator will be responsible for gathering evidence through forensic methods, advising on loss control issues, and preparing for disciplinary proceedings. Candidates should have at least 10 years of operational and forensic investigation experience, good interpersonal and communication skills, and be proficient in MS Office. This role requires an ability to handle high-pressure situations and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of operational investigation and forensic investigation experience is essential.
  • A driver's license is essential.
  • Must be computer-literate and familiar with MS Office.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively gather evidence using forensic and non-forensic methods.
  • Submit reports on loss control non-compliance issues.
  • Advise stakeholders on pre-employment and loss control issues.
  • Determine if information is actionable with relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan and prepare for disciplinary proceedings with IR.
  • Act as a witness in various court proceedings if required.
  • Gather evidence for law enforcement agencies.
  • Assist with registering criminal cases.
  • Facilitate criminal investigations between stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Report non-compliance issues.
