Senior Financial Manager required in Somerset West.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Oversight:
    • Lead and coordinate all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
    • Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and cash flow forecasts.
    • Manage client budgets, cost control, and financial performance reviews.
    • Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls and processes.
  • Client Relationship Management and Business Development:
    • Act as the primary financial contact for clients, delivering high-quality outsourced finance services.
    • Provide Financial Director-level insights, including financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and board-level reporting.
    • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and value-added financialguidance.
    • With EXCO refine and grow the service offering and client base of Admin4Impact.
    • Utilise systems, and technology to offer cost effective support that can be sustained.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Supervise, develop and grow a team of accountants, providing guidance, performance feedback, and mentorship.
    • Allocate work efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.
    • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop operating procedures and other policies to be used in delivery
    • Build and formalise relationships with key 3rd party service providers and associates
  • Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant legislation.
    • Liaise with auditors, tax practitioners, and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • CA (SA) or equivalent qualification
  • 7+ Years experience
  • Strong analytical (financial & non-financial) and mathematical ability
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting skills
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office, i.e. Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Any AI applications knowledge will be beneficial
  • Experience providing strategic financial support (FD-level) to external clients
