We have an exciting opportunity to join the global HR Transformation team at DHL Supply Chain as the HR Internal Control Systems and Strategic Projects Senior Expert! This critical global role combines compliance, innovation, and leadership to shape the future of HR at DHL Supply Chain. As the HR Internal Controls System (ICS) and Strategic Projects Sr Expert, you'll define and embed process‑related internal controls that safeguard the integrity of HR operations and ensure compliance with management policies. Working closely with the Global HR Business Process Optimization team and regional HR ICS leads, you'll validate controls across countries, ensuring they are effectively localized and operational.

Beyond HR ICS, you'll lead strategic global HR projects that drive digital transformation, acting as Project Manager for initiatives sponsored by the Division or Group HR Board. Partnering with regional HR teams, you'll accelerate the adoption of innovative HR technologies and standardized processes worldwide. Your key accountabilities include:
HR Internal Controls
  • Develop and maintain the HR internal controls framework in close collaboration with Corporate HR, regional and country HR ICS leads.
  • Design and embed internal controls into global HR processes, guiding local adaptations and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Align legal and regulatory requirements with regional and country HR ICS leads, maintaining compliance with internal DHL policies.
  • Audit HR ICS processes, track remediation actions, and drive continuous improvement reviews in partnership with Global HR Business Process Optimization.
  • Monitor audit results, provide senior leadership oversight for control localization and operational improvements, assessments and remediation status across regions.
Program/Project Management
  • Act as Project Manager for medium-to-high complexity strategic global HR initiatives, defining scope, timelines, and resources in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Define project requirements, develop charters, and execute plans using standard methodologies.
  • Drive effective project and change management planning and execution, ensuring transparency and timely decision‑making.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance to program teams, while managing dependencies across workstreams.
  • Develop program‑level communications and governance frameworks, ensuring clear reporting on progress, risks, and milestones.
HR Digitalization Strategy Support (Technology & Innovation Development)
  • Champion HR digitalization by promoting adoption of innovative tools, AI, and robotics to accelerate transformation.
  • Research and evaluate emerging HR technologies, initiate vendor relationships, and support development of business cases.
  • Scope potential solutions and provide simplified, management‑ready product information to enable informed decisions.
What are we looking for from you?
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification. Prince2 / Agile / ITIL certification or comparable experience preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of transactional HR processes and internal control optimization.
  • Proven in-depth experience in HR project management, HR systems and processes, HR Internal Controls, HR Business analysis, HR process improvement or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2), PMO best practice and project risk, issue and quality control.
  • Proven track record in managing medium-to-large HR programs from strategic planning through to implementation and closure, using methodologies such as Agile or Prince2.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HR systems (ideally Oracle HCM, SAP HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance).
  • Strong general business and operational management skills, with ability to manage risks, budgets, and timelines.
  • Successful international experience with ability to work effectively across cultures and regions; DHL Group experience is a plus.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, cross‑functional collaboration, and influencing at multiple levels.

Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision and solve complex problems.
