Key Performance Output

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Performs a variety of administrative and executive support tasks that are highly confidential and sensitive.
  • Generate procurement orders on software system including receipting and invoicing.
  • Monitor stock levels and purchase stationery and sundry for the office.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships (including government and high-profile delegates) to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
  • Respond to request, queries and complaints as and when required. Escalate to relevant personnel when unresolved.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in relevant forums.
  • Acts as liaison between the executive, internal and external stakeholders, subordinates or others, by transmitting directives, instructions and assignments and following up on the status of assignments.
  • Extensive coordination at top level, together with an in-depth knowledge of the organisation.
  • Manage and coordinate the CEO and CFO\'S calendar by screening requirements and independently.
  • Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings and accompanies supervisor when requested.
  • Arranges events or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers and controlling event budget, conference rooms, catering etc.
  • Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report noncompliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Acts as liaison between the executive, subordinates or others, by transmitting directives, instructions and assignments and following up on the status of assignments.
Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree (3 years - 360 credits) - NQF 7 in Office Management or Administration is essential.
  • 5 years Senior Executive Administration is essential.
  • 3 years Administration or Executive Administration in Operations is essential.
  • MS Office at an advanced level.
