Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Head of Renewables Division to oversee their renewable initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a BEng in Electrical Engineering and be ECSA registered as a Professional Engineer. Responsibilities include managing renewable projects related to Data Centres, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and various other grid connections. A minimum of 10 years experience in the electrical environment is required, alongside expertise in heavy current and renewables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience within the electrical environment, heavy current and renewables.
• Experience with Data Centres, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and various Grid Connections.
• Familiarity with Solar PV, Wind Turbine, and Gas Turbine technologies.
