Overview

Our esteemed client in Pretoria is urgently seeking a highly skilled Senior DATA Business Analyst on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end data analysis process, from conducting current state assessments to delivering post-implementation support. The successful candidate will focus on improving and redesigning processes to enhance efficiency, achieve high levels of standardization, and enable straight-through processing with clearly defined exception management. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with proven experience in areas such as system migrations, data and insights, and process improvements. In addition, the role will involve supporting and driving the related reporting processes in collaboration with team members.

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

• Relevant degree (IT, Informatics, Data Science or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years’ (Business Analysis and data modelling and/or data analysis) experience.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Experience with AI and Machine learning preferred.
• BA AND Data experience required.
• SQL and data modelling is NB.
• Need a level of data science experience.
• Demonstrable ability to operate independently, efficiently, and effectively in a high transaction volume and complex environment.
• Knowledge of business process mapping systems such as Lucid and Bizagi.
• Other standard systems such as Microsoft Suite and Jira.
