A financial services company in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage all bookkeeping functions up to trial balance. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of handling large accounts, and proficient in MS Office, with 3+ years of experience. Reliable transport and bilingual skills in English and Afrikaans required. This is a full-time role based in Rondebosch.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Palladium accounting software is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Must have own reliable transport.
• Contactable references are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full bookkeeping functions up to trial balance.
• Perform accurate and timely cashbook processing.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and supplier reconciliations.
• Ensure customers pay in full and on time.
• Share weekly sales reports and cash flow reports.
• Handle general admin tasks and filing as needed.
